What is ifle?
IFLE is a project group working toward implementing foreign languages into the curriculum of younger students. Our group is made up of senior students at Bremen Senior High School in a challenge-based learning class. This class involves students coming up with an issue in our community, then as a group we work throughout the term to find a possible solution that cannot only improve our community but improve communities around the world. In the end, our group implements the solution to resolve the issue.

significance of our logoThe Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 for the Paris Exposition. This was a massive world's fair that brought people from all over the world. During World War 1, the Eiffel Tower became a symbolic representation of liberty, fraternity, and freedom. It was a great and powerful way to bring people together from all around. We chose the Eiffel Tower as our logo because the ability to speak multiple languages is a very powerful aspect in life. Language has the great ability to bring people together from all walks of life, much like the Eiffel tower. We have freedom to learn any and as many languages as we so desire. In doing so, we are able to communicate throughout the world.
